Had a good day at SS and Church. Will be going to my small group in about an 30 mins or so. I chose "Have a New Kid by Friday". It sounds good so far. Did the meet and greet last Sunday. It is a 6 week program Meet/Greet on the first Sunday, then Mon-Friday, then the "New Kid" on Saturday! :)
Hoping to get some good stuff out of it. will keep you updated on it.

Got to sleep in today, thank you hubby :)
I went to Target today and got a level and stud finder (even tho i already have my stud GAG! LOL!)
J put up 2 shelves in the kitchen so i can put my decor coffee cups and wine glasses on it. I am also gna decorate it with my fruit motif. I am excited to do something, slow as it may be w/o the 1st time money. J is getting super excited drawing out his plans for the playroom and all. i guess getting all our ducks in a row is a good thing, so when we finally are able to, we will be prepared!
I talked to a couple at church on wed after awana, he/they just bought a Culligan store. he told me he can get me a refurbished water softener cheaper than a new one by almost $1000, which we really need here for both drinking and washing. the water tastes worse than the rust coloured well water in MT & turkish water, and for me that means something...i drank all of the above! LOL! it is also uber hard, so i should take stock in lotion or just be thankful i have a discount with my Avon stuff!

ok, heading to bed to watch some shows with J. kids are down (d for the time being at least!)
nope...i hear him thumping down the stairs...
he got so used to going to bed with a tv, 3 nites in a row, that now I took out the tv and he is FREAKING for it.
Now I fight to put him to bed.
So back to putting him down, ttyl!
oh yeah...J called today and asked me to have lunch with him, so D and I went out to eat BK with him! The last time I got to eat with him was when i was preg with D & he flaked out, so we didn't.

I got my craft area cleared enuff to set up the table. Anna and D coloured and made stuff on it, it was nice.
I made steak, baked potatoes, gravy, steamed sugar snap peas (haha...say that a couple times fast), garlic shells (the pasta roni stuff) and cut up some apples for the kids.
So the kids finally got to play in the jacuzzi and had a BLAST!!!! I texted pics to some of the fun & will try to put pics up on FB a little later.
The bubbles were up over D's head when he sat down. it was super cute! LOL!
We may watch G Force tomorrow since it is almost 9 now.

The following is from when I was commenting on my own post...grief...one day i will figure this out! LOL!
hey all...well, it looks like if it is too good to be true, it prob is.
We are gna have to keep looking for right now as our tax return will be very much delayed. :(
Because we are first time homebuyers we have to mail our return in with a copy of our closing docs and all...which means we may get it (with direct deposit) in 4-6 weeks :( BOOOO!!! we have such dreams for hte house right now.
ok, so yeah, i just got off the phone with the irs. i have all the proper documents and such, so now we have to mail them in. the lady on the phone said they aren't prepared for the 1st Time Home Buyers deal, so they won't be ready for those returns til mid FEBRUARY and then another 4-6 weeks ontop of that so we are looking at not getting our return til the END OF MARCH!!! I asked about splitting our return and doing the reg part now, then the 1st time deal later, she said that i would have to wait until the first part went thru, then ammend it and look at another almost 3 months before they would show anything. UGH!!! I really want a new dishwasher, freezer, paint the walls, etc etc etc....guess I will keep dreaming until we get our return one day.
I know that this is money that we wouldn't normally have, but it is money that part of it is due us back, and i am sorry if the government isn't prepared, but that seems to be their track record lately!
